'The
families of Monaseed enjoy a rich heritage from their forefathers,
many of whom emigrated to all quarters of the globe over the past
three centuries. We want to establish contact with our worldwide
connections and discover more about our already colourful history.
We want to build up knowledge of our forefathers and their descendants.'

In 2001 the Craanford Explore Group published Inscriptions
on Memorials of the Dead at Craanford, Monaseed, Hollyfort, Rossminogue,
Killnahue, Knockbrandon and Mount Saint Benedict Cemeteries in County
Wexford, Ireland. This provides an important historical
record for those interested in local and family history. It includes
groundplans of cemeteries, a detailed record of who is buried where,
and full inscriptions of their memorials. The following images show
selected pages from the publication which relate to St Patrick's
Catholic Church at Monaseed and give an idea of the range of information
available.
