'This
development is important for any social occasion in the community.
It's good to see the community coming together in this way'
Fr. Felix Byrne
The
Monaseed Development Group are very busy working on an exciting
€ 1.5 million project to build a major sports and culture centre
for the local community comprising a multi-purpose space for indoor
sports, music, dance, drama and exhibitions.
The
Centre will cater for multiple sports, including football, badminton
and squash. It will also be available for arts and crafts groups
and for social activities and events within the community. It will
have a shop, a cafe and a car park with 60 parking spaces.
'Our village is growing at a rapid pace and we need new facilities
so with everyone's support, this new development will go ahead.'
Anne Sheeran, Monaseed Community Group
